Image Hosting

Image
Google Photos is a storage location for your photos - all your photos - for your eyes only. Google Photos is not an image hosting service. Unless you have special plugins, you cannot use Google Photos to host pictures for use in websites ... except for here in Blogger. I can click the Insert image button, choose Google Album Archive, find the album and then the picture I want and insert it here into a Blogger Blog post. What I'm now testing is, can I use this picture in my Gmail signature on my Android phone? How about this animated .gif that WordPress says is too big for it to host?

Photo Album using Blogger's "Lightbox"

Image
Step 1 Using HTML view, not Compose ... Insert Image, select as many as you want and Insert Choose Small size, and No alignment Step 2 Give your readers instructions to click on one photo, that puts them into "Lightbox" where they see a photo full size in the middle of the screen and they can then just use right/left arrows to scroll thru all photos, or click on any photo in the bottom scroll bar to see that photo full screen. If this doesn't work for you, check your blog's settings, posts comments and sharing, Show images with lightbox: set it to Yes
