Adding videos from Google Photos

I tried to insert a video from my Google Photos library, use the Insert Image button, but just choose a video. It appears to work, but it's just an image with a play button on it.



Next try - download video from Google Photos to computer, then use the import video tool button and upload it.

Lastly, I try using Google Drive and these instructions

Google Slides (on Google Drive) Here is a slideshow I made using Google Slides. What you do is create the show, then click the File menu and "Publish to Web."
